BRANDY

Brandy is a 14.2hh Welsh Cob Mare who is now 19years old. Margaret brought Brandy from the Welsh sales as a unbroken three year old to bring on and sell but like a lot of horses Margaret has bought over the years this was not a quick turnover as she was with us at Little Garendon for the next 12years! While with us at Little Garendon Brandy was competed by many people in lots of different discaplines all of which she was good at, although she did have a fright show jumping in her younger years and never truly forgot that. Brandy was placed nearly everytime she went out and was the most fabulous hunter, she didn't realise she was a 14.2hh Welsh Cob she thought she was a 16.2hh Thoroughbred! and most of the time out hunting showed the bigger horses how it should be done.

We had just started thinking about finding Brandy a new home a few years ago but we thought it would be difficult as she is quite strong willed and can buck for England if she thinks she can get away with it. We were very lucky as she has found the perfect home near reading where she just hacks, does a little cross country and hunts where she is still showing them all how its done!
