SHALBOURNE BLUE DANUBE (Danny)

Danny was very well bred for the show ring but grew to big to be a riding pony. He came to us to break as a three year old. margaret really liked him so bourght him with the idea of selling him on, but he stayed here for the rest of his life! Danny was a brilliant horse excelling cross country he became one of the best open team chase lead horses in the country at the time, he also jumped up to Foxhunters show jumping and gained points eventing even though his dressage was not his strong point as he found the jumping much more fun. Danny also taught Rachael a lot about cross country in his later years taking part in all pony club activities.
