We bought Garendon Ollie as an unbroken three year old, we got him from his breeders in Staffordshire, he is by Tromeros out of a hunter mare. We had only owned him a week when he was hit by a car whilst being led down the road, he was very lucky, as although the injuries looked horrific they were only superficial. Our vets were fantastic and although left with a scar it has never caused him any problems.

Ollie will always be special to me as he was the first horse I have taken from an unbroken three year old through the grades upto BE Intermediate level. He was a very honest horse who would always try his hardest for me, I gained 16BE points, won approxmately £100BSJA and jumped double clear rounds in two CCI*. I sold him in October 2004, to a girl who was just starting her eventing career, they have now had two fantastic seasons together, having just completed her first three day event.
